That's amazing :D I am working on getting TW2 to work on my Steam Deck, probably need to develop some controls for that :)

Hi :) Glad to hear you are enjoying the game! The hitbox of the door disappearing is somewhat on purpose. I intially did not do this, but then (due to Unity's physics modelling) the door would get stuck on the creatures and so would refuse to slide open (also very annoying ;) ). Enemies can no longer attack through doors since v1.7 ;) They can still cast spells over walls and doors though, if they are aware of your presence (just like you can), although they have strongly dimished accuracy. Pathfinding is the subject of continuous work ;) The keybinding thing is on my roadmap. It will be some work though as I have to switch Input Managers, and is bound to introduce all manner of bugs. I have been putting it off until I have some more time. I hope to be able to take a crack at this over the holidays. Chain Lightning has always been hard to balance. It has actually been nerfed in TW2 compared to TW1 in that it has a maximum in the number of creatures it can affect at lower levels. (It also has much slower regeneration compared to other basic damage spells.) I will have to think on this. When you encounter this bonkers strong enemies, are you in a randomly generated quest level or the main dungeon? And if the latter, could you send me a savegame next time you enter such a level? It might be helpful to see if anything is going wrong :D Cheerz, Wouter

This was my initial idea was well, but it is very hard to define "safe" as many aspects may make a level hostile even without any enemy creatures nearby. And they may depend sharply on the individual player character. For instance, certain deities may attack you randomly, meaning nowhere is really safe indefinately. It would be hard to keep track of all such effects (and keeping that register up-to-date going forward) in order to determine if a player character is currently safe or not. Therefore, the speed-up functionality added in v1.6 is good middle ground I think ;)

Congratulations on your win! :D The first TW2 victory I have heard about! And by defeating the Nameless One no less! :D I processed your input in yesterday's update :) Of course addressing the game's balance will be an ongoing affair ;) As for the savescumming with shrines (and the like). I think that will be in any case unavoidable; one could always just back-up the save file and restore it ;)

Randomly generated quests are implemented, however, fixed quests with a quest giver like you had in TW1 are not yet in TW2. They are on the roadmap though ;) The wish is a good idea ;) By the way, a copy can also always be found in the Library which is a random level which has a very high probability of appearing.

Currently you have to resummon your familiar for it to enjoy the benefits, but the next version (scheduled this weekend) will fix this. That version will also allow item sharing with allies again :)

Thank you! :D And thank you for your input! :D Unfortunately, to be able to change the keys I need to swap out the Input Manager, which is very certain to introduce bugs. It is on my to-do list but I would like to wait a bit until the game is a bit more stable before undertaking it. That said I understand it is a bit annoying, I still find myself pressing the TW1 keys from time to time ;) The shopkeeper services are still there. :) The item shop can be found by going into the inventory ("I" key) and then clicking "enter store". The buttons to buy spell power-ups can be found directly in the spell list / Grimoire (when in a shop). Creatures in earlier versions of TW1 used to melee automatically when they bumped into things. But in the more recent versions you had to use the right mouse click (this was to be able to support ranged attacks). It's the same in TW2; you need to right click ;) (Unless this is a new bug, but on my computer it seems to work fine.) The game saving during a level (instead of inbetween) is a bit harder to implement in TW2 than it was in TW1. I'll have to think about if this can be easily done. I'll see if I can add a speed-up feature and/or ally spellcasting customization options in the new version ;) Cheerz, Wouter

Hi Someone, There should be some talents listed under the "Choose a new talent...". :/ (The talents on the left are indeed talents you already know.) This looks like a bug! Thanks for reporting! That's hillarious :P That'll teach me to backport things from TW2 into TW1 :D In TW2 there is a separate stat for affecting shop prizes, and this is increased when disapparating a merchant's stock, not hate. So in TW2 this exploit would not work. But I forgot that in TW1 these stats are both rolled into loveliness. I guess I'll have to create another TW1 update to mitigate this ;) But congratz on the win! :D
